These terms cover your use of Chaptered at chapteredfilms.com. By making a page or watching one, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What Chaptered is
Chaptered lets you mark the moments in a wedding film, tag who's in them, and share a page where each guest gets a link to their parts. It's in beta and free for now. Things will change as we learn, and some features may come and go.
YouTube
Films play through the YouTube player, part of the YouTube API Services. By using Chaptered you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How Google handles what its player collects is in the Google Privacy Policy, and how we handle the rest is in our privacy policy.
Making a page
- Only make a page for a film you have the right to share: your own wedding, a film you made, or one the couple asked you to set up.
- Only tag people in a way they'd be comfortable with. If someone asks to be untagged or left off, take them off.
- Don't use Chaptered for anything unlawful, hateful, or meant to harass or embarrass someone.
- Keep your edit link private. Anyone who has it can change the page.
Your content
What you add to a page stays yours. You let us store it and show it to anyone who has the page's link, so the site can work. The film itself stays on YouTube, under YouTube's rules.
Removals
Anyone can ask for a name, a tag or a whole page to be taken down with Report or remove me, at the bottom of every page. We handle requests within 24 hours. We may remove any page that breaks these terms, or that someone in it reasonably objects to.
No guarantees
Chaptered is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We can't promise the site will always be up, that a film will always play (that's up to YouTube and the film's owner), or that a page will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us, which during the beta is nothing.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using Chaptered after that, the new terms apply.
